Let’s go on a roadtrip

September 6, 2012

Most of my holidays in the past few years have been all about relaxation, there is nothing I crave more than lazy days and long summer nights. I find it’s the only way I can switch off from work. After 3 years of relaxing holidays, I want an adventure and what better way to do that than to plan a road trip down the west coast of America for next April.  The decision was made easier due to the fact one of my closest friends who I won’t have seen in a year by next April, is currently travelling and will be on the west coast then.

I would like to start in Seattle and plan on spending a few days in Portland (to spend time with my Uncle who lives there) and will fly on to San Francisco, San Diego and end in LA. Some of the main things I would like to see include the Oregon coast,  Golden Gate bridge and park, Yosemite National Park, the Big Sur, Venice Beach and of course, do some shopping on Rodeo Drive.

I’d love to hear suggestions if anyone has ideas on where I should go and where I should avoid…
